Guaranteed A Grades at A Level?
Our accelerated learning system enables you to assimilate academic knowledge in a fraction of the time taken by traditional methods, leaving plenty of time for your business projects. Watch this video for an overview of our system, conceived by Tom Cassidy, our Principal, which has been in development since 1995 and is currently in use by more than 150,000 students from all around the world:
A tsunami of change is coming. Over the next two decades, artificial intelligence will transform the service sector and professions in the same way that automation did to agriculture and manufacturing in the 20th century. Half of today’s jobs will disappear and new industries will spring up.
Most schools today are preparing students perfectly for a job in 1970, despite the overwhelming evidence that a traditional education is no longer enough. You still need academic qualifications of course, but these become no more than the table stakes for entry into the market. You’ll need much more than a good degree to thrive over the duration of your career in an evolving world.
In order for you to become future-proof, you need to become entrepreneurial; a creative, big-picture thinker, a risk-taker and a fast learner. Humans will always be valuable when applying their creative genius to situations which are uncertain, indeterminate, or unpredictable. Mankind will continue to have the edge over robots in the creation of a new solution, the design of a new product, the implementation of a new approach: all of which are trademarks of the entrepreneur.
You will need to be entrepreneurial, but not necessarily an entrepreneur.
You could still practise medicine, but be a doctor with an entrepreneurial mindset, always looking to do new things, to develop, to grow, to change, to improve.
Whatever your path, in order to be successful you’ll need to have tremendous self-discipline, highly developed powers of discernment and the ability to effectively communicate.
You’ll need to be a master of your thoughts, and captain of your actions.
You’ll need to assimilate new information rapidly and connect the dots, see the bigger picture, and go beyond a specific specialism to ‘see how it all joins up.’ You'll have to become a comprehensivist.
Our Response to This Challenge
Cambridge International School has scoured the world to find the best and brightest experts in all fields of entrepreneurship. The result is the Cambridge Accelerator, a two-year program to inspire, equip and nurture you - teenage entrepreneurs. While many business schools and universities offer courses in business and entrepreneurship, we are the first school to provide this opportunity to 16-19 year olds.
What’s so special about the program?
The program is practical and real. You will work alone and in teams, running real businesses. You will go through the whole business cycle from generating business ideas, pitching for seed capital, to taking the company operational. Are you worried that you might fail? Success is born of failure. We expect you to fail. We want you to fail, because there is no better way to learn. Fail fast, fail often. Highly successful entrepreneurs will mentor you. You will learn techniques that most business people only discover years later, if ever, such as enhanced memory, speed reading, negotiation, sales skills, communication, media training and leadership.
